Quickstart
Create a project from your Saavo account, run it locally, and complete your first Cloudflare deployment.
This chapter follows a single workflow: get the project from saavo.dev, confirm that it runs locally, and deploy it to your own Cloudflare account. Project scripts handle the databases, KV, R2, and queues, so you do not need to create each resource in the dashboard.
Before starting, complete the prerequisites: your Saavo account has an available template, Git and Node.js are installed on your computer, and R2 is enabled in the Cloudflare account you will deploy to.
Chapter order
- Create a project: Use Saavo CLI to download the template and prepare the local environment.
- Run locally: Start the development server and confirm that the homepage and main entry points are accessible.
- Initial deployment: Prepare remote environment settings and deploy to
workers.devwithdeploy:init.
Afterward, you will have both a local development environment and a Cloudflare Worker accessible over HTTPS. Continue to the tutorial to replace the branding, products, prices, and feature configuration.
The initial deployment is not a production launch
deploy:init creates real Cloudflare resources and deploys the project to workers.dev. Whether it is ready for users also depends on completing the branding, email, payments, callback URLs, and legal pages. Before opening registration and accepting payments, complete the launch checks in the WebpageToPDF tutorial.
